Viña Pomal is made with grapes from our best plots, Cuervo 4, Vicuana and Zaco, located in a privileged enclave in the municipality of Haro, Rioja Alta. Most of the vineyards are south-facing, which maximizes sun exposure and helps the grapes to ripen more intensely. The soils are calcareous and stony, so they are nutrient-poor, deep and well drained. The vineyards are bush-trained, cultivated according to sustainable agriculture principles. They average 30-40 years in age and yield less than 3500 kg/ha (1.6 t/ac). The images of the Products and any packaging (if applicable) on our Website are for illustrative purposes only.
